Residence William French Guest House is truly a once in a life time experience. William's guest house is superb from the rooms, to the surreal views, mouth watering food and outstanding staff and service! William is a magnificent host who truly goes above and beyond for his guests.

This was now my fifth time back and will continue returning in the near future! Would highly recommend staying here!

Outstanding service from start to finish. The whole team was welcoming, friendly and we were made to feel part of William’s extended family for the week. The food was exceptional. We’re still missing the breakfast croissants!! You MUST book dinner for at least one evening, one of the finest meals you will eat in the Cape. William’s attention to detail, years as a top chef, and his true passion shone through. Sublime! x The decor and cleanliness were faultless. Beautiful lounge area with interior flair, large bed, large shower, sun loungers by the pool and stunning view topped it off.

Our stay with William was truly the best we had during our 2 week roadtrip along the western cape. We stayed two nights and couldn’t have had a better experience. Everything is beautifully and uniquely decorated with a lot of love for the little details. Both William and his team were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. Breakfast and dinner were exceptional. We went on a fishing trip during our stay and William made it possible to bring some of our catch back and cooked it for us - one of the best meals we’ve had! The only negative thing we can say is, that we only had two nights to enjoy the guesthouse. We would definitely stay here again!! Thank you!

We have traveled for many years all over the world and this guest house was the best we have ever stayed at. The ambience, hospitality, food, host, and attention to detail are unparalleled. I wish we didn't live so far away so we can enjoy this beautiful place more often. It has our highest recommendation.

Williams home is a place of beauty, tranquility, relaxation and being spoiled rotten. The food is absolutely first class, breakfast is a veritable delight and the interior of the property is stunning. Outside the pool is a haven of peace whilst overlooking beautiful scenery. The staff members Primrose and Angie are simply the best, friendly, professional, attentive but never intrusive, they are a real asset to William. My wife and I adored this place, we can’t wait to return.

Beautiful view, amazing breakfast, absolutely delicious dinner. The room is beautifully decorated, spacious and clean with a stunning én suite bathroom and view. I loved swimming in the beautiful pool overlooking the ocean. William is an amazing host and make all his guests feel welcome. It was food for my soul. Thank you William for an unforgettable stay. I will definitely be back.

This immaculate & unique property took our breath away on entering. Every room was full of character & dripping good taste, with consideration for every detail. William was an exceptional & knowledgable host & nothing was too much trouble. The food was sublime .The only downside was leaving, we would have liked to have had a much longer stay than the 2 nights we had. We won’t forget you William - thank you for our stay, you’re a classy guy!
